ICC2007 Webcast and Photos

Many thanks to all the delegates to attended ICC2007 in Glasgow (June 24th-28th 2007) and contributed to its success. The Local Organisng Commitee are delighted to be able to make available photographs and the webscasts that were taken during a number of ICC2007 events. The Conference Plenary (Welcome Address, CEO Forum and ComSoc Awards ceremony) was webcast live on the day and is now available to view again. Additionally a range of photographs were taken on a range of key ICC2007 events and these too are available to view. We hope that you enjoyed your ICC2007 experience in Glasgow (apologies for the weather!) and hope that these photos and videos will appropriate souvenirs of your time in Scotland.

Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony and CEO Forum took place in the elegant Clyde Hall of the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre (SECC) on the 25th June 2007. The Conference was opened by a Welcome Address given by John Swinny (Cabinet Secretary, Scottish Executive), followed by an Opening Presentation by Arun Sarin, CEO of the Vodafone Group and General Chair for ICC2007. The event was broadcast on the day as a webcast for ICC2007 by SeeGlasgow;.The webcast is now available to view again either by going to or viewing the items below.

IEEE/ComSoc Awards

At ICC each year, the IEEE Communications Society conducts an award ceremony to honour the recipients of IEEE ComSoc Paper Awards. ICC2007 has the pleasure and the privilege of holding the IEEE/ComSoc Awards Ceremony as part of the plenary programme in Clyde Auditorium. Before an audience of peers and invited guests, the achievements of the individual recipients who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of communications systems and technologies, and who have contributed significantly to the growth and success of their subjects will be acknowledged.

ICC2007 Welecome Reception	The ICC2007 opening reception took place at the Glashow Science Centre on 24th June 2007. The Local Organising committee and IEEE/ComSoc thank Glasgow City for their support and patronage in setting up the Reception. The album contains formal and informal pictures taken throughout the evening's proceedings.
ICC2007 CEO Plenary	The Opening Ceremony, CEO Forum and IEEE ComSoc Awards Ceremonytook place in the elegant Clyde Hall of the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre (SECC) on the 25th June 2007. The Album contains photographs taken at all three events along with photos taken at the Vodafone hosted VIP lunch and other ComSoc events on that day.
ICC2007 Banquet	The Conference Banquet took place in the Kelvingrove Museum on 26th June 2007. The ablum conains formal and informal pictures taken during the event.
ICC2007 Best Paper Awards & Dinner	This album contains pictures taken at the ICC2007 evening dinner of 27th June 2007 at the Western Club Glasgow. The album contains formal and informal pictures of the evening events, including the "best paper" awards for each of the ICC2007 Technical symposia.
